The Coastal Bend Thunder is excited to release the 2010 schedule for the upcoming season. The Coastal Bend Thunder will be playing a total of 93 regular season games with 48 of those being at home. The season starts on May 27^th and ends on August 30^th, with playoff games following in September. Opening Day for the Coastal Bend Thunder is set for Thursday, May 27^th playing against the Edinburg Roadrunners. For more information call 361-933-1120.

The Nueces County Junior Livestock Show Association is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization whose aim and purpose is to promote and encourage the work of 4-H Clubs, Future Farmers of America, Family, Career & Community leaders of America, and adult leaders of Nueces County in promoting app phases of agriculture, home economics, and industry.

Robstown Area Development Commission is proud of COTTONFEST '2010, an Annual Celebration of Culture, History of Cotton, and Economy of Robstown & the surrounding area. Historically, cotton and vegetable farming have played an important role in Robstown's economy. The community will celebrate this heritage this year at COTTONFEST '2010, its October family festival. Live music, arts and crafts, sports competitions, cook-offs, contests, carnival, and historical exhibits provide something for everyone.

Hawk Watch held at Hazel Bazemore County Park west of Corpus Christi, Texas in Nueces County GPS Lat. 27°51'56.8" and Long. 97°38'33.8" Fall watch hours 10 am August 15 - November 15. Hazel Bazemore Park is one of the parks operated by the Nueces County Parks and Recreation Department. The 77.6-acre park is located on the Nueces River in Calallen, just off of Northwest Boulevard and County Road 6.
